In the 2004 comedy film Meet the Fockers, directed by Jay Roach, good-natured nurse Greg Focker (played by Ben Stiller) is ready to propose to his girlfriend, Pam Byrnes (played by Teri Polo). As the visit progresses, the two families clash, tempers flare, and hijinks ensue as Greg tries to win over Jack's approval while keeping his cool in increasingly awkward situations. From struggling to hide his secret obsession with a famous male nurse named Jorge Villalobos (played by Alanna Ubach) to accidentally drugging Jack with a strong dose of a sexual enhancement drug, Greg endures one calamitous misadventure after another, making for a hilariously awkward comedy of errors.
Despite the obstacles, Greg remains determined to win Jack's respect and Pam's hand in marriage. Along the way, he uncovers some unexpected truths about his own family and learns the true value of acceptance, honesty, and love.
