However, Imam is now living in a world of his own and can barely recognize his loved ones. In his delusions, he keeps seeing his dead wife who speaks to him in his dreams and lures him to her side. He also fails to communicate with his caring son, who is doing his best to take care of him but is unable to understand his father's strange behavior.
As conflicts erupt in the country, Imam's son and the family doctor try their best to prevent the old man from leaving their Mumbai apartment, but Imam's determination to travel to Pakistan only grows stronger.
