In the 1995 comedy film Man of the House, Chevy Chase plays Jack Sturgess, a lawyer who must protect a group of cheerleaders who witnessed a murder while at a Texas football camp. Jack is tasked with going undercover by posing as the assistant coach of the ame team the girls cheer for, and living in their dormitory to keep an eye on them.

Jack quickly finds himself out of his element as he tries to fit into the world of college football and teenage girls. As he tries to keep an eye on the cheerleaders and keep them safe, he also has to fend off the advances of a flirty professor and the mother of one of the girls, who is unhappy with the way Jack is handling the situation.

To make matters more complicated, Jack's daughter, who lives with his ex-wife, comes to visit him on the same weekend as the football camp. He struggles to juggle his responsibilities to the cheerleaders and his daughter, all while trying to maintain his cover and solve the murder that brought him to the camp in the first place.

Jonathan Taylor Thomas plays one of the football players on the team, who develops a friendship with Jack and helps him navigate the unfamiliar world of football coaching. Meanwhile, Farrah Fawcett plays the mother of one of the cheerleaders, who clashes with Jack and causes more trouble for him than he already has.

Despite its serious plotline of a murder plot, Man of the House is filled with plenty of lighthearted humor and Chevy Chase's well-known comedic charm. The film also has a strong message about the importance of family and being there for those you care about.

Overall, Man of the House is a fun and entertaining comedy that stands the test of time with a great cast and unforgettable plot.

Man of the House is a 1995 comedy with a runtime of 1 hour and 36 minutes. It has received moderate reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 5.2.
