Make Your Move is a romantic dance movie that tells the story of two dancers from different worlds who fall in love while competing in a dance competition. The movie stars Derek Hough as Donny, a New Orleans-born dancer who has been working as a bartender and occasional street performer in New York City. Donny is a talented street dancer who dreams of making it big in the dance world, but has been held back by his criminal record.

BoA plays Aya, a talented ballroom dancer from Japan who comes to New York City to compete in a prestigious dance competition. Aya is a perfectionist who takes her dancing very seriously and expects nothing but the best from herself and her partner.

When Donny and Aya meet, there is an instant spark between them. They bond over their shared love of dance and begin to work together in secret, practicing for the competition that could change their lives.

However, their path to success is not without obstacles. Aya's older brother, Kaz (played by Will Yun Lee), is a powerful businessman who disapproves of her involvement in the dance competition and doesn't think she should be associating with someone like Donny.

Meanwhile, Donny's criminal past comes back to haunt him and threatens to derail his dreams of making it in the dance world. As the competition draws closer, Donny and Aya must navigate these challenges while also trying to perfect their dance routines and create a performance that will wow the judges.
