Maghreb : Mogador Begins in Essaouira, a white washed city on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. A major Portuguese colony named Mogador, the city was an important trade center for the area being used even during the Roman times for manufacturing purple dyes in its surrounding islands. From there we drive up the coast to Casablanca, the cosmopolite city of Morocco, where we may not find an authentic Rick's Cafe but we visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, the largest from the entire country and the only mosque that can be visited by non-Muslim.Maghreb: Mogador (Copyright _ 2003 - 25 minutes) covers the cities of Essaouira and Casablanca.
