This Indian romantic drama was directed by Raja Vannem Reddy and released nationally in 2008. The film is a direct remake of the film, En Purushan Kuzhandhai Maathiri. The plot focuses on the good natured Bullabbayi, who seeks to be a gentleman in all things to impress his beautiful and charming sister-in-law, Rajeswari, with whom he has fallen in love with.

However, despite all his attempts at romance and creating a impression Rajeswari does not seem to take notice of him at all. The one thing that Bullabbayi does not know is that this is all an act and that she really loves him as much as he loves her. But when Bullabbayi saves a young woman who is being sold into prostitution both his and his Rajeswari's world are turned upside down.
