Watch Love

Beginning in 2007, director Kabir Bhatia begin casting for his romance film entitled "Love," which was a remake of the 2006 hit "Cinta." Bhatia chose a cast ensemble with the following members: Sophan Sophiaan and his wife, Widyawati, Irwansyah, Acha Septriasa, Laudya Chintya Bella, Luna Maya, Wulan Guritno, Surya Saputra, Fauzi Baadilla, and Darius Sinathrya. Filming soon began, and "Love" debuted in 2008.

The movie follows the lives of five different situations where love is portrayed. Among the stories depicted, the life of a teacher with Alzheimer's and his care taker are shown. Along with the story of a family and a couple that includes a successful writer while the other struggles as an aspiring writer. As well as the story of two friends attempting to reach each other in a different land, and a couple who first falls in love while taking the bus together.

Prior to its release, rumors spread accusing Bhatia's film "Love" as nothing but a remake of the previous year's successful film entitled "Cinta." Critics claimed that Bhatia chose his all star cast only to make money, and not because he believed that "Love" was an original movie. However, Titien Wattimena who wrote the movie and Christo Damar from the "Nature Producer's" both dispelled these falsified as well as unsubstantiated claims. After the films debut, "Love" would prove to be different from "Cinta" with the only similarity being that both films contained story lines describing love.
