At a gala dinner held by the Spanish king, Diana Balaguer and security guard Santi Garcia lock eyes and Diana faints. The film flashes back 30 years to a B&W memory of their first meeting in the hotel room of John Lennon during the Beatles’ 1965 Spanish visit. Young Diana and young Santi hide under the bed while Lennon is occupied with a groupie on the bed. Carnal sparks fly between Diana and Santi, beginning a love affair carried out over thirty years with brief, fateful encounters in diverse places as they follow their separate lives through moments that defined those decades.
