Los Viajes del Viento, translated into English as The Wind Journeys, is a Colombian period film from 2009. The film is set in Colombia during the late 1960s. Ignacio is a folk musician who takes up a quest of penance upon the death of his beloved wife. Ignacio vows to return his instrument, a cursed accordion, to his master, albeit with the accompaniment of a teenager, Fermín, who idolizes his lifestyle. The two individuals travel throughout Northern Colombia, even performing in the very first Vallenato music festival, until they reach the desert region of Taroa, the home of Ignacio's master.
