London Has Fallen is a 2016 American action thriller film directed by Babak Najafi and produced by Gerard Butler, Alan Siegel, and Mark Gill. It is a sequel to the 2013 movie, Olympus Has Fallen and features actors Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart, and Morgan Freeman in the lead roles. The film takes place in London, where British Prime Minister James Wilson is holding a state funeral for the recently deceased British Prime Minister. All the world leaders are arriving in London to attend the event, which is being held with the highest levels of security. However, things take a serious turn when a terrorist organization called Aamir Barkawi's group launches a massive coordinated attack on the city.

Secret Service agent Mike Banning (Gerard Butler) must once again rise to the occasion to save the President of the United States, Benjamin Asher (Aaron Eckhart), from the hands of the terrorists. The terrorists have already killed the Prime Minister, and their next target is the President. As Banning escorts Asher through dangerous city streets, the two of them must work together to outsmart the terrorists and remain alive.

Helping Banning are top officials from the United States government, including Vice President Allan Trumbull (Morgan Freeman), who is in London to attend the state funeral. Trumbull must also deal with the fallout of the situation and navigate the complex geopolitical situation unfolding in London.

As the terrorist group carries out brazen attacks, Banning must use all his skills to thwart them at every turn. The action sequences are intense, and several well-choreographed shootouts and fight scenes showcase Butler's physical abilities in the lead role.

The tension-filled atmosphere throughout the movie is amplified with tight camera shots, crisp editing, and outstanding sound design, all of which contribute to creating an immersive atmosphere. The movie is fast-paced, and the storyline never slows down, keeping the viewers on the edge of their seats right until the very end.

London Has Fallen benefits from a strong performance by Gerard Butler as Mike Banning, the patriotic hero who is always ready to put his life on the line for his country. Aaron Eckhart adds depth to the character of President Asher and portrays his vulnerability as well as his resilience. Morgan Freeman brings depth to his role as Vice President Trumbull and is a highlight of the movie.

While the story is not entirely plausible, it is the kind of movie where plausibility isn't the main focus. London Has Fallen is a film that delivers on its promise of an adrenaline-pumping action thriller that keeps the audiences entertained throughout.

Overall, London Has Fallen is an entertaining and thrilling movie with a strong cast, excellent direction, and well-choreographed action sequences. It is sure to appeal to fans of high-octane action movies and the genre of political thrillers. If you're a fan of Gerard Butler or Aaron Eckhart, London Has Fallen is definitely worth checking out.
