This documentary looks inside the personal life and professional career of silent film star Lon Chaney. It explains how Lon Chaney created the first Hollywood monsters himself, and why they called him the man with a thousand faces. He starred in movies like "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" and "Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde". He was dedicated to creating lifelike makeup, so the audience would be totally entertained and scared. Lon Chaney was also famous for performing all his own stunts. The documentary also looks at much of his personal life, and giving birth to his son Lon Chaney Jr.
