Little Q is a touching drama film that was released in 2019. It is directed by Wing-cheong Law and stars Simon Yam, Gigi Leung, and Him Law in lead roles. The movie tells the heartwarming story of a dog named Q and his relationships with different owners throughout his life. The movie begins with a heartwarming scene of a group of puppies playing together. Among them is Q, an adorable Golden Retriever, who is the most mischievous of them all. Even though he is cute and playful, he is also very attached to his mother and siblings. However, this happy life comes to a sudden end when Q's mother is taken away by animal control, and Q's siblings are sold to other owners.

Q is the only one left behind, and he soon finds himself adopted by Lixia (played by Gigi Leung). Lixia is a woman who has lost her husband and has given up on life. She is depressed and spends most of her time drinking and sleeping. Q's presence brings a ray of hope in her life, and she slowly starts to open up to him.

Q becomes Lixia's constant companion, and he is always there for her, even when she is in her deepest sorrow. However, their time together is cut short when Q gets lost in a busy city, and Lixia is unable to find him.

Q eventually finds his way into the arms of a homeless man, Pan (played by Simon Yam). Pan is a kind-hearted man who takes care of Q and other stray dogs in the city. He teaches Q to fend for himself and how to stay safe in the harsh city environment.

Through Pan, Q meets a young police officer named Tsz-Ching (played by Him Law). Tsz-Ching is initially distant and unapproachable, but Q's presence slowly changes that. Tsz-Ching becomes friends with Pan and helps him take care of the stray dogs.

As the movie progresses, we see Q's journey through life and the impact he has on the people around him. We see him bring joy to Lixia's life, provide a home for Pan, and become a symbol of hope for Tsz-Ching.

The movie is a heartwarming and emotional tale that explores the universal themes of love, loss, and the power of human-animal relationships. The performances of the cast are remarkable, especially Simon Yam, who delivers an exceptional portrayal of Pan. The movie is beautifully shot and captures the essence of the city, making the movie even more relatable and authentic.

Little Q is a must-watch movie for all animal lovers and those who believe in the power of love and relationships. It is a touching story that will leave you with a smile on your face and a feeling of warmth in your heart.
