Letters to Jane is a 1972 post script documentary about the production of a film starring Jane Fonda. The film examines a single photo of Jane Fonda in Vietnam, and examines her efforts in the anti war movement of the 1960s and 1970s. The film examines also the work of Fonda and other stars throughout the era, and their efforts to protest and end the most controversial war in the history of the United States. The film was the final collaboration of Jean-Luc Godard and Jean-Pierre Gorin, two of the most influential directors of the time.
