The morality of a secret war comes under scrutiny in this realistic drama set in Nicaragua. Eddie Guerrero (Robert Beltran) is a Chicano Green Beret and a Vietnam veteran who has always been a model soldier. But now he's in the jungles of Latin America fighting a war that's not his and against an enemy that includes innocent civilians amongst its victims. Officially, he and his American comrades aren't even there --- they're ordered into combat without their dog tags. And slowly Eddie begins to question what he's doing and why. His deep soul searching leads him to some very difficult decisions which deeply affwect his actions and could influence the fate of a nation.
