The 2013 movie Last Vegas stars Robert De Niro, Michael Douglas, Morgan Freeman and Kevin Kline as lifelong friends and party-loving seniors who reunite in Las Vegas for one last epic bachelor party. Billy (Douglas), Paddy (De Niro), Archie (Freeman) and Sam (Kline) have known each other since childhood and have stayed close despite their various life paths taking them in different directions. When Billy proposes to his much-younger girlfriend, he invites his buddies to Vegas for a wild weekend of debauchery and hustle.

Upon arrival, the four men quickly get into the party spirit, hitting the casinos and nightclubs and charming their way into free drinks and gambling chips. However, as the weekend unfolds and the old friends spend more time together, they confront unresolved issues and tension that arise from their past relationships and life choices.

Paddy, for example, is still nursing a decades-old grudge against Billy for the way he handled a past situation involving their mutual love interest, while Archie is dealing with the aftermath of a stroke that has left him partially paralyzed. Sam, meanwhile, is grappling with feelings of inadequacy in his long marriage, and looks to this weekend as a shot at redemption.

As the men navigate their way through the neon-lit streets of Vegas, they also encounter new people who challenge their perspectives and add some fresh energy to their lives. Lounge singer Diana (Mary Steenburgen) catches Paddy's attention with her musical talent and sharp wit, while the high-rolling businessman Dean (Jerry Ferrara) takes the guys on a ride in his fancy sports car.

Throughout the course of the film, the characters explore themes of aging, friendship, love, loss and regret. They come to understand that no matter how old you get, life still has some surprises left, and it's never too late to make amends or take a leap of faith.

The movie features a strong and talented cast who bring their A-game to the script, delivering both dramatic and comedic moments with equal aplomb. De Niro, Douglas, Freeman and Kline all have a natural chemistry that makes their on-screen friendship feel organic and believable.

The film is well-directed by Jon Turteltaub and benefits from its location in the bustling city of Las Vegas, providing a visually rich backdrop for the story. The soundtrack is also noteworthy, featuring classics from the likes of Frank Sinatra and Stevie Wonder that help set the mood for the characters' wild weekend.

Overall, Last Vegas is an enjoyable and heartfelt comedy that balances humor and sentimentality in equal measure. It's a film that celebrates the joys of friendship and the importance of living life to the fullest, no matter how old you are.

Last Vegas is a 2013 comedy with a runtime of 1 hour and 45 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 6.6 and a MetaScore of 48.
