A romantic comedy about arrested development with an all star cast. 28-year-old Megan (Keira Knightley) has been living pretty much the same life since high school. She has the same job, the same circle of friends, and the same boyfriend. After a series of events leaves her feeling left behind by her friends who are moving forward with their lives, she unexpectedly befriends sixteen-year-old Annika (Chloë Grace Moretz) when the teenager convinces her to buy alcohol for her.

On the heels of this, Megan's boyfriend Anthony (Mark Webber) unexpectedly proposes marriage, throwing her into a state of panic. Overwhelmed Megan decides she needs a week to escape from her life and regroup. She tells Mark that she's going to a week long out of town seminar but instead hides out at her new friend Annika's house, much to the bafflement of the girl's father Craig (Sam Rockwell), a single divorce attorney.

Directed by Lynn Shelton with a screenplay by Andrea Seigel.

Laggies is a 2014 comedy with a runtime of 1 hour and 40 minutes. It has received moderate reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 6.4 and a MetaScore of 63.
