Watch Ladies in Lavender

Set in a small Cornish coastal village in England in 1936 where two sisters, Ursula and Janet, are living their routine, everyday existence together without a large amount of difference between each day. A Polish violinist, Andrea, is headed for America and a new life when he is washed overboard in a storm that washes him up on the beach in front of the sisters home. After nursing Andrea back to health the lives of the sisters and eccentric characters in the village are changed forever as Andrea and a visiting painter grow closer.
