L.A. Twister is a 2004 indie comedy film that follows the misadventures of four twentysomething friends as they navigate their way through the ups and downs of life in Los Angeles. The film opens with the introduction of our four main characters: Jamie (Zack Ward), a perpetually unemployed aspiring actor; Nick (Tony Daly), a struggling screenwriter; Amy (Jennifer Aspen), a struggling actress; and Greg (Daniel Joseph), a surly bartender. The four friends spend most of their time hanging out at their local bar, commiserating over their lack of success in the entertainment industry and dreaming of one day making it big.

One day, while hanging out at the bar, the friends find themselves caught up in a wild and unexpected twister that rips through the streets of L.A. They are miraculously unharmed and decide to make the most of the chaos by taking advantage of the newfound opportunities that the twister has presented. They soon find themselves embarking on a series of wild adventures, including stealing a car and crashing a movie premiere.

As the group's misadventures continue, they each begin to realize what is truly important in life and make some important decisions about their future. Jamie, who has long dreamed of becoming an actor, decides to give up on his dream and move back home. Nick, meanwhile, decides to give up on writing and open his own bar, while Amy decides to pursue a career in another field entirely.

Throughout the film, the group's antics are contrasted against the backdrop of the L.A. entertainment industry, with its glitz and glamour, but also its cutthroat competition and crushing disappointments. The film never takes itself too seriously and is filled with plenty of hilarious moments, as well as some heartfelt ones.

Overall, L.A. Twister is a fun and entertaining indie comedy that manages to both satirize and celebrate the L.A. entertainment scene. It's a delightful ride with a talented cast and plenty of chuckles. Fans of quirky indie comedies will definitely want to check it out.

L.A. Twister is a 2004 comedy with a runtime of 1 hour and 31 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 5.8 and a MetaScore of 29.
