Igor and his father, Roger, are slumlords happily making big profits by running scams on illegal immigrants. But when a building inspector comes for a surprise visit and a tenant is injured, things begin to rapidly fall apart for the father and son team. Scrambling for cover, Igor makes a promise to the injured tenant that soon causes a rift between father and son. When the injured tenant debates Igor's offer, he soon finds himself at odds with his wife over the future of their son.
