La Florida is a Canadian comedy film that centers around a family from Quebec. The family decides they are tired of the long winters in Quebec and decide to seek a new life in Florida. The family purchase a motel but little do they realize the motel business is a dime a dozen in the sunny paradise. Their troubles begin when two bigger businessmen aim to close down the family's business. And that's just the start of everything that could go wrong for them.
