Knights of the Damned is a fantasy/horror movie from 2017 directed by Simon Wells. Set in a post-apocalyptic world, the movie tells the story of a group of knights who are dispatched to a remote village to investigate a mysterious and deadly plague that has infected the population. The knights, led by their brave captain, Veil (played by Ross O'Hennessy), soon realize that the plague is not a natural disaster but the work of a group of cursed creatures who have risen from the dead. These creatures, called the Hell's Horde, are on a mission to destroy humanity and have already taken over most of the land.

As the knights fight their way to the village, they encounter a young woman named Alina (played by Kate Davies-Speak), who is the only survivor of a previous attack by the Hell's Horde. Alina reveals that the creatures are controlled by an evil sorcerer, Malachi (played by Ben Loyd-Holmes), who is using them to carry out his plan to rule the world.

The knights and Alina team up to stop Malachi and his minions, and they soon discover that they are not just fighting against the undead but also against an army of supernatural creatures that include zombies, demons, and witches. As they battle their way through hordes of monsters, the group faces internal conflicts, as some of them begin to doubt Veil's leadership and question their own morality.

The movie is full of action-packed fight scenes, with the knights displaying impressive acrobatic abilities as they fight against their foes. The visual effects are impressive, considering the low-budget nature of the movie, and the makeup and costumes are suitably gruesome and terrifying.

The acting in the movie is solid, with Ross O'Hennessy giving a commanding performance as the leader of the knights. Ben Loyd-Holmes is also impressive as the villain, Malachi, displaying a mix of charisma and malice that makes him a formidable opponent. The rest of the cast do a good job, although some of the characters are underdeveloped and feel like they are there just to serve as cannon fodder.

Overall, Knights of the Damned is an entertaining movie that will appeal to fans of action-packed horror flicks. While the plot may not be particularly original, and the characters are somewhat one-dimensional, the movie more than makes up for these shortcomings with its thrilling fight scenes, impressive special effects, and solid performances from the cast. If you're looking for a fun, entertaining movie that doesn't take itself too seriously, Knights of the Damned is definitely worth a watch.

Knights of the Damned is a 2018 action movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 27 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 2.6.
