Knight and Day is a 2010 action-comedy movie starring Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, and Peter Sarsgaard. Directed by James Mangold, the movie follows the unlikely duo of Roy Miller (Cruise), a rogue spy, and June Havens (Diaz), an ordinary woman, as they embark on a dangerous adventure around the world. June is a car mechanic who is flying home to attend her sister's wedding when she meets Roy, a mysterious man who she initially tries to avoid. However, Roy soon reveals that he is a secret agent on the run from his own agency, and that June has inadvertently become entangled in his dangerous mission.

As June is swept up into Roy's world of espionage, she finds herself in the middle of a global conspiracy involving a powerful new energy source, a corrupt FBI agent (Sarsgaard), and a shadowy organization known as the "Knight's Templar". With Roy as her protector, June must navigate a series of high-stakes chases, exotic locations, and life-threatening situations in order to uncover the truth behind the conspiracy and clear her name.

Despite its serious themes, Knight and Day is a lighthearted and fun movie that doesn't take itself too seriously. The chemistry between Cruise and Diaz is undeniable, and the pair have a great time playing off each other as they banter their way through the movie's many action sequences. Cruise, in particular, is at his charming and charismatic best as Roy, a man who may be a bit unhinged but is nevertheless determined to complete his mission and protect June at all costs.

The action in Knight and Day is high-octane and well-choreographed, with plenty of car chases, shootouts, and daring escapes to keep audiences on the edge of their seats. Mangold's direction is slick and stylish, and the movie makes great use of its many international locations, from the streets of Vienna to the beaches of Jamaica.

One of the most unique aspects of Knight and Day is its unconventional structure, which often jumps between different points in the narrative and keeps audiences guessing as to what will happen next. The movie isn't afraid to take risks, and its bold approach to storytelling helps to keep things fresh and exciting throughout.

Overall, Knight and Day is a thrilling and enjoyable movie that offers a perfect blend of action, humor, and romance. Cruise and Diaz are both at the top of their game, and their chemistry is the driving force behind the movie's success. If you're looking for a fun and entertaining popcorn flick that will keep you on the edge of your seat, then Knight and Day is definitely worth a watch.

Knight and Day is a 2010 action movie. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 6.3 and a MetaScore of 46.
