Joshua Tree is an action-packed thriller from 1993, starring Dolph Lundgren, George Segal, and Kristian Alfonso. The movie follows the story of a Los Angeles police officer named Wellman Anthony Santee (played by Lundgren), who is falsely accused of multiple murders and is on the run from both the law and the real killers. The one clue he has to prove his innocence is a videotape that the murderers are after.

The movie starts with Santee being framed for the murder of a police officer during a drug bust. As he is being pursued by the police, he meets a woman named Rita Marek (played by Alfonso), who initially thinks Santee is the killer but later realizes his innocence. Together, they embark on a dangerous journey across the desert to clear his name and find the real killers.

The chief antagonist in Joshua Tree is a wealthy businessman named Michel Sand (played by Segal), who hires a group of hitmen to recover the videotape that Santee possesses. Sand's motive for getting the videotape is to protect himself from criminal charges stemming from his illegal activities. He uses his wealth and influence to manipulate law enforcement officials to his advantage.

As Santee and Rita travel deep into the wilderness, they face several obstacles and dangers from the hitmen and other criminals. One of the most notable action sequences is a high-speed car chase through the desert, which culminates in an explosive crash.

Throughout the movie, Lundgren's character maintains his innocence and is relentless in his pursuit of justice. He is portrayed as a tough, rugged individual with a strong sense of morality, which is evident in his interactions with the other characters.

Alfonso's character provides a good contrast to Lundgren's tough-guy persona. She is resourceful and intelligent, and her character undergoes a definite development throughout the story. Her initial suspicion of Santee turns into a gradually growing trust and eventually develops into a romantic relationship.

Segal's performance as the villain is also noteworthy. His portrayal of a slimy, ruthless businessman who will stop at nothing to protect his interests is convincing, and he effectively creates a character that the audience loves to hate.

The cinematography of Joshua Tree is another standout feature. The use of the vast, picturesque desert landscapes as a backdrop for the action sequences creates a visually stunning experience. The director also effectively utilizes close-ups and wide shots to create a sense of tension and urgency during the action scenes.

The soundtrack for the movie is a mix of hard-rock and electronic music that adds to the overall intensity of the movie.

Overall, Joshua Tree is an entertaining action movie that provides plenty of thrills and suspense. With a strong cast and excellent cinematography, it is an enjoyable watch for fans of the genre.
