Balu returns to the city and is consoled by his family. He decides to forget Swapna and move on with his life. He gets a job offer in the US and decides to take it. During his farewell party, he meets Swapna, who has come to the city with her family. Balu's family is shocked to see them together, but a twist in the tale changes the family's perspective.

The rest of the story is about the challenges the couple face in convincing their families about their love and whether they ultimately succeed or not.
