This sobering documentary follows one heartbroken father’s journey across the United States as he campaigns to institute harsher penalties for sex offenders. Florida truck driver Mark Lunsford lived a quiet life with his parents and nine-year-old daughter, Jessica, until February 24, 2005. That night, neighbor John Couey, a man with an extensive criminal record that included a conviction for indecent exposure, abducted Jessica from her bedroom. Her body was discovered in March of that year, buried in a shallow grave. Since that time, her father has made it his mission to fight for tougher sentences for sex offenders.
