Jeete Hain Shaan Se is a 1988 Bollywood movie directed by Kawal Sharma and produced by Pawan Kumar. The movie features an eclectic mix of action, drama, and romance and stars Mithun Chakraborty, Sanjay Dutt, and Govinda in lead roles. The film's music is composed by Anu Malik with lyrics by Indeevar. The movie revolves around the lives of three brothers, Ram (Mithun Chakraborty), Laxman (Sanjay Dutt), and Bharat (Govinda). Ram is a police officer who is married to a girl named Asha (Mandakini). Laxman is a happy-go-lucky guy who spends his time singing and dancing. Bharat is a college student who is in love with a girl named Radha (Anita Raaj).
The story takes a turn when Ram is falsely accused of taking a bribe and is suspended from his job. Due to this, his family is ostracized by society, and they are forced to leave their hometown. They move to Mumbai, where Laxman becomes a popular singer, and Bharat joins a college. Meanwhile, Ram works as a security guard in a company and is determined to prove his innocence.
As fate would have it, Ram comes across a group of criminals who are planning a bank heist. He informs the police and helps them catch the culprits. However, soon after, he realizes that the police are corrupt and involved in the crime syndicate. To put an end to this, Ram decides to take matters into his own hands and brings the criminals to justice.
The movie is filled with action-packed sequences, including car chases, fist fights, and shootouts. However, what sets it apart is the emotional bond between the brothers and their unwavering support for each other. The movie also touches upon issues such as corruption in the police department and the power of unity.
Mithun Chakraborty delivers a powerful performance as the resilient Ram. Sanjay Dutt is charming and entertaining as the carefree Laxman who brings a much-needed dose of comic relief. Govinda, in one of his early roles, shines as the college-goer Bharat who is torn between his love for Radha and his duty towards his family. The chemistry between the three leads is palpable and adds depth to their characters.
The music of the movie is another highlight, with chartbusters like 'Jiske Aane Se Rango mein Doob Gayi hai Sham' and 'Tama Tama Loge' still popular today. The dance numbers are energetic and full of life and leave a lasting impression on the audience.
Overall, Jeete Hain Shaan Se is a must-watch for fans of 80s Bollywood movies. The movie packs a punch with its action and drama and also has a heartwarming message of family and brotherhood. The performances, music, and storyline make it an entertaining watch even today.
