Je me souviens is a Canadian dramatic film. The film centers around a tragedy that took place in 1948. Richard Bombardier is a miner who dies in a mysterious accident on Valentine's Day night. His wife Mathilde is the prime suspect in his murder, even though she is innocent. To seek revenge on the two women who started the rumor, Mathilde sleeps with both of their husbands. Mathilde soon finds that she is pregnant, not knowing which man is the father. The scandal rocks the families involved and changes their lives forever.
