A grizzled prospector finally finds the gold he has been looking for in the Canadian hills. On his way to register his claim, he is killed by one of the territory's most notorious murderers. One brave Mountie uncovers the secret of the claim and must decide to either follow its trail, or save a town threatened by the murderous criminals who have plans to blow-up a nearby dam.
