He was a student of Kenwa Mabuni, the founder of Shito Ryu. He also trained with Choki Motobu, Gichin Funakoshi, Shin ken Taira and Shoshin Nagamine. In this Video, Master Kuniba unveils the bunkai of Shito Ryu kata which he became famous for, as well he performs the katas of Shito Ryu Karate Do.
