The movie begins with Bakhtavar, who is always getting into trouble with his mischievous pranks. One day, while playing near a river, he accidentally falls into the water and is carried away to an island in the middle of the river where he meets a giant named Jhamunda. Jhamunda is a friendly giant who lives with his pet elephant and takes care of the island. Bakhtavar is initially frightened by the giant, but soon befriends him and learns about his life on the island.
Jhamunda tells Bakhtavar that he is not the only one who has been transported to the island. There are many others who have come before him, but they have all been eaten by the cannibalistic Kanas. Jhamunda warns him about the dangers of the Kanas and tells him to be careful.
However, Bakhtavar is not scared and decides to explore the island. He soon meets a group of tiny people called the Janjira tribe, who live in the trees on the island. However, he soon learns that Janjira is also in danger from the Kanas, who are on a mission to capture all the tiny people and take them away.
Bakhtavar meets the King of Janjira, Raja Chatura, who is a kind and wise ruler. Raja Chatura tells Bakhtavar about his kingdom and the Kanas who are always on the hunt for the tiny people.
