Watch Innocents

Innocents follows the tale of two sisters and their ability to deceive and manipulate an unsuspecting cellist and teacher, Gerard Huxley. After getting into a car accident while driving cross-country, Gerard meets sister Megan, a nurse at the hospital. Their mutual attraction evolves as he recovers, and when Gerard is well he's invited to dinner with Megan. There he's is introduced to her mentally unstable, but equally attractive, younger sister, Dominique, and their dying father.

When their father passes away, Megan and Dominique invite themselves on Gerard's travels. The sisters let him know they need to inform their mother in Seattle of their father's passing. Gerard is first compelled and intrigued, feeling some sense of loyalty and obligation to the woman who helped his recovery, and he agrees. It's quickly revealed that Dominique's sanity is precarious at best, and Megan, although better at hiding it, shares the familial mental defects.

While on their journey, the trio encounters twists and turns that result in murder and reveal the darkness that lies under the surface of both beautiful sisters. Caught in their web of crimes, Gerard's voyage goes from carefree to more of a hostage situation. As the miles unfold, so do deep family secrets and explanations of how such gorgeous girls could be so deeply troubled.

The girls seem to attract trouble, and after the two murder a judge, Gerard too late realizes he's trapped in Megan and Dominique's sadistic company. Along the way the three seem to attract a variety of characters that can only be found in the underbelly of society.

The film ends where it begins, with Gerard facing the police. They are determined to pin the series of murders on Gerard, and he is left to make them see the responsible parties are two seemingly innocent girls. Innocents is a dark drama that reveals surface beauty can hide more sinister motivations.
