The talented young singer Gerry Trent has become the hit of several popular productions. With a little poor luck, the productions fizzle forcing her to search abroad for employment. She meets an esteemed novelist who whisks her away to the most romantic location in Europe. A short nuptial leaves Gerry with her deceased husband's million dollar fortune. When word gets out, a former boyfriend traces Gerry to her discreet abode in France. The heat begins when she is torn between a future with a familiar love, or independence using her late husband's fortune.
