The small infrastructure and dearth of proper education for the youth deep into the bush complicates Djalu and Dhanggal's strategy to transfer their families into their current location to the bush does not work out well since there is dearth of education for the children in the area.
Nevertheless, Dhanggal and Djalu Gurruwiwi strive to maintain their tradition keep tradition. While doing this they try to shepherd their family through ethnic, environmental, economic and societal pressures.
