I Spy is a 2002 action-comedy film directed by Betty Thomas and starring Eddie Murphy, Owen Wilson, and Famke Janssen. The movie is based on the 1960s television series of the same name. In the movie, Eddie Murphy plays Kelly Robinson, a loud-mouthed boxing champion who is also a special agent for the US government. Kelly is tasked with the mission of retrieving a stolen stealth fighter plane which has been designed by the government to avoid detection by radar. The plane was stolen by a criminal mastermind named Gundars (Gary Cole) who threatens to sell the plane to the highest bidder if his demands are not met.

Owen Wilson plays Alex Scott, a top-secret agent who is assigned to be Kelly's partner on this mission. Alex is a gifted spy who is calm under pressure and excels in physical combat. Initially, Kelly and Alex have a hard time getting along because of their different personalities. However, they are forced to work together due to the gravity of their mission.

The mission takes the duo to Budapest, where they meet Rachel (Famke Janssen), a beautiful and elusive woman who Kelly is immediately drawn to. Rachel is a gallery owner who becomes the focal point of the mission when evidence suggests that she might be working with Gundars. The three of them are swept into an intense game of cat-and-mouse as they try to outsmart each other and uncover the truth.

The movie combines elements of action, comedy, and suspense to create an entertaining and fast-paced story that keeps the audience engaged throughout. Eddie Murphy and Owen Wilson both deliver strong performances as co-leads, with their on-screen chemistry adding to the humor and excitement of the film. The movie also boasts some impressive action sequences, including a thrilling car chase through the streets of Budapest and a high-altitude fight scene atop a cable car.

The story also has its fair share of twists and turns, with unexpected developments keeping the audience guessing until the very end.
