This movie follows Enrico Fermi who is from Italy. During the 1930s he taught at the Rome University. Ettore was one of his students. She was very bright especially in math. They marry. During World War II he immigrated to the United States and helped design the Manhattan Project. Enrico ends up going insane and cannot handle the fact that his wife is better at math then he is.
