The movie ends with Jay attending Simran's engagement ceremony and silently wishing her well. However, Simran realizes that her heart still belongs to Jay and breaks off her engagement with Raj. She runs after Jay and confesses her love to him. The movie ends on a happy note with Jay and Simran finally getting together.
