Frank Morgan leads and all-star cast in this hilarious saga of the lengths to which an actor will go to salvage his dying career! The first attempt by Frank Merriweather (Morgan--The Wizard of Oz) makes to put his name back in lights ends in fiasco when the radio show causes a panic like "The War of the Worlds," but all is redeemed when he single-handedly re-enacts the film Boom Town, enacting the parts played by Clark Gable, Claudette Colbert, Spencer Tracy and Hedy Lamarr in the film!
