However, he is only interested in helping one girl, who's Holly, a 12 year-old beautiful girl.
Patrick has been quite 'comfortably numb' living in Cambodia, but when he encounters a 12 year old Vietnamese girl who lives in the K11 red lighted village, his entire life changes. The girl was sold by her own impoverished family and was smuggled across the border to be a prostitute. Since Holly's a virgin, it makes her have a high price, and when she's sold to another child trafficker, Patrick goes on search throughout the country to try and bring her back safely. Although it is a quite a frightening story, it's a completely true thing that happens. The movie shows the 'K-11' Project, which is dedicated to increasing awareness on the epidemic of kid trafficking and sex slavery trades. The movie's producers endured such hardships just to shoot in the country. While they were filming, they found the RedLight Children's Campaign; a worldwide grassroots generating conscious concern as well as action against the child sexploitation epidemic.
