Taking place in a school in China, this is a foreign film subtitled in English, featuring a young girl by the name of Ning Ning and her friends. Ning Ning's passion for singing inspires a connection with a boy she meets from her school. Her parents move to be in closer proximity to the new school she is attending and although her parents are not exactly backing her vocal talents, she still tries to win it all in the singing competition within her school for the cash reward that would be awarded to her school and all while keeping up with her studies.
