After a tragic incident, a group of friends reunites in a remote mountain cabin, where they plan to spend a weekend having fun and relaxing. However, as their stay progresses, they begin to realize that someone else is on the property with them - someone who doesn't want them to leave. The group consists of five close friends: Arjun (Purab Kohli), Abhi (Arjan Bajwa), Natasha (Mrinalini Sharma), Anu (Sameera Reddy), and Mayank (Ayaz Khan). They all have their own pasts and secrets, which come to the surface throughout the movie.
As they settle into the cabin, strange and eerie things start happening around them - power outages, broken windows, and footsteps outside in the dark. Despite their fear, they try to rationalize these events, thinking that it might just be a local prankster or something similar.
However, things take a turn for the worse when one of them goes missing. Panic sets in and they realize that they are not alone on the mountain - someone is watching their every move and they have to find a way out before it's too late.
The cinematography for the movie is dark and eerie, with plenty of shots of the isolated cabin surrounded by the pitch-black forest. The use of lighting is particularly effective, with the shadows playing tricks on the viewer's mind and making them feel like they too are trapped in the cabin with the characters.
The performances given by all the actors are excellent, with Purab Kohli and Arjan Bajwa standing out in particular with their portrayal of Arjun and Abhi. Mrinalini Sharma's role as Natasha is also noteworthy, as she tries to keep everyone together despite the growing sense of danger.
While the plot itself may seem somewhat predictable, the writing keeps the audience engaged with plenty of twists and turns along the way. The dialogues are crisp and realistic, with the characters reacting to situations in ways that most people could relate to.
Overall, Hide & Seek is a well-made thriller that keeps the viewer on edge throughout its runtime. If you enjoy a good mystery with plenty of suspense and a touch of horror, this movie will not disappoint.
