H.G Wells' The War of the Worlds is a science fiction horror film that is based in the United States about a super alien invasion on earth. War of the Worlds is one of the three films to be released in 2005 of Wells' classic novels with the same name. An American astronomer witnesses the annihilating invasion taking place on earth by extraterrestrials that walk in war machines. The war machines disrupt all communication throughout the country while he is trying to reconcile with his wife and son in Washington D.C.
