Watch Herod's Law

When a beloved citizen in the lowly position of a janitor, Juan Vargas, is named temporary governor of the small town of San Pedro de los Saguaros, he is soon faced with the temptations of power and money. With intentions to do good for his community with his newly appointed power, he finds struggles with the crippling lack of funding that his village receives. He is soon the victim of bribery and greed as he accepts the financial generosity of a local brothel, and is coached by his superior on the cutthroat "eat or be eaten" way of ruling his town.
