Here Come the Girls is a 1953 musical comedy film directed by Claude Binyon. The film stars Bob Hope, Tony Martin, and Arlene Dahl. It is a lighthearted movie that offers great entertainment through its musical acts, comical performances, and stunning visuals. The film revolves around a struggling producer named Stanley Snodgrass (Bob Hope), who is trying to produce a new show for the famous dancer and singer Lily Pons (playing herself). To make the show a success, he needs to find other talented female performers who could complement Pons's impressive performances.

Snodgrass's challenges start when his leading lady, Gloria Adams (Rosemary Clooney), quits the show to get married. He needs to find a replacement soon, or the show will be a failure. His only hope is to find talented singers and dancers to fill the gap. Through a stroke of good luck, Snodgrass stumbles upon a group of chorus girls whom he convinces to join the show.

The girls include Joanne, a tap dancer (Arlene Dahl), Victoria, a ballet dancer (Constance Towers), and Susie, a jazz singer (Rosemary Clooney). Stanley is initially reluctant to take them on due to their lack of experience, but eventually, he takes them in as a last-resort option.

As rehearsals for the show begin, Snodgrass realizes that he has more than enough talent on his hands. While the girls are rehearsing, Snodgrass attempts to woo Pons, but she is already engaged to another man, much to his disappointment.

As the show progresses, the girls prove to be more talented than anyone had anticipated. They perform dazzling dance routines, sing melodious songs, and impress the audience with their stunning stage presence.

Throughout the film, there are many musical scenes and dance numbers that showcase the skills and versatility of the ensemble cast. The music is provided by famous composers including Jule Styne and Sammy Cahn, who create an unforgettable soundtrack that remains fresh to this day.

The chemistry between the cast members is evident, with Tony Martin playing a significant role as a love interest to Arlene Dahl, adding to the overall romance and charm of the film.

As the show's opening night approaches, tensions run high, and Snodgrass faces one obstacle after another. Lily Pons's fiancé threatens to cancel the show, and a series of incidents send Snodgrass's well-planned show into chaos.

Here Come the Girls is a delightful classic film that offers great entertainment and memorable performances. The film's laughs come from Bob Hope's characteristic style of comedic timing, while Arlene Dahl's infectious energy and good looks add to the movie's charm.

The film's musical acts are impressive, and the dance routines are a treat to watch. Overall, Here Come the Girls is a great movie that manages to entertain through its combination of music, dance, and humor.
