Kuno Becker returns in Goal! 2: Living the Dream, the sequel to the 2005 hit soccer movie Goal!. This time the film follows Santiago Munez (Becker) as he transfers from Newcastle United to Real Madrid to fulfill his lifelong dream of playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world. The film opens with Santiago being transferred to Real Madrid after his stunning debut season with Newcastle United. Once in Madrid, Santiago faces challenges, including adjusting to a new language and different playing style, adapting to the pressure of playing for a team like Real Madrid, and dealing with jealousy and competition from his teammates.

To make matters worse, Santiago finds himself caught in a love triangle between his girlfriend Roz (Anna Friel) and Jordana Garcia (Leonor Varela), a famous TV presenter who wants nothing more than to be with Santiago. The relationship between Santiago and Roz is tested throughout the film, as they try to balance their relationship with Santiago's new fame, the long distance between them, and Jordana's advances.

As Santiago tries to establish himself as a true star at Real Madrid, he is plagued by injuries and constant pressure from the media and fans alike. His best friend, Gavin Harris (Alessandro Nivola), also joins Santiago in Madrid, but Gavin's partying lifestyle and lack of discipline soon become a liability for both him and Santiago.

The movie features appearances from some of Real Madrid's biggest stars at the time, including David Beckham, Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldo, Roberto Carlos, and Iker Casillas. Their cameos add to the authenticity of the film and make the soccer matches feel like real-life events.

The film captures the excitement and energy of a top-level soccer match, with nail-biting moments and amazing goals that will leave you on the edge of your seat.

Aside from the on-field action, the film also explores the personal lives and struggles of the characters. Santiago's relationship with his father is further developed in this film, as Santiago learns to forgive his father for not being there for him when he was growing up. The film also touches on the challenges of being a professional athlete, including the stress of constant media attention and the demands of living up to expectations.

Overall, Goal! 2: Living the Dream is a solid sequel that builds on the success of the first film.
