Gidarh Singhi is a 2019 Punjabi language comedy-drama film directed by Vipin Parashar. The film stars Jordan Sandhu, Ravinder Grewal, Rubina Bajwa, Karn Mehta, Saanvi Dhiman, Prince Kanwaljit Singh, Gurmeet Saajan, Malkeet Rauni and Vijay Tandon. The story of the film revolves around the life of Shamsher Singh (Jordan Sandhu), a young man who is in search of a job. He lives with his grandfather, Bhai Ji (Vijay Tandon), who is a faith healer and runs a small time business. Shamsher is in love with his childhood friend Swaran Kaur (Saanvi Dhiman) and hopes to marry her someday. However, their families are not on good terms and their marriage seems impossible.

One day, Shamsher's grandfather discovers that he has a "gidarh singhi" (jackal horn) growing on his head, a rare and miraculous phenomenon believed to bring good luck and fortune. The news spreads like wildfire and people from far and wide come to seek his blessings. Shamsher sees this as an opportunity to make money and starts charging people for his grandfather's blessings.

Soon, the news reaches the ears of a local politician, Yashpal Sharma (Ravinder Grewal), who sees it as a threat to his own popularity and decides to eliminate Shamsher and his grandfather. The rest of the story revolves around Shamsher's efforts to save his grandfather and his own life.

The film is a satire on superstitions and blind faith prevalent in Punjabi society. It highlights the greed and dishonesty that often accompany the business of faith healing. The performances by the lead actors are commendable, especially Jordan Sandhu and Ravinder Grewal. The supporting cast also does a good job in their respective roles.

The music of the film, composed by Desi Crew and Davvy Singh, is peppy and foot-tapping. The songs are well placed and add to the overall entertainment value of the film.

The cinematography by Jalesh Oberoi is impressive, capturing the lush green landscapes of Punjab in all its glory. The film also has some well-executed action sequences.

Overall, Gidarh Singhi is an entertaining film that delivers a strong message against blind faith and superstitions. It is a must-watch for those who enjoy Punjabi cinema and are looking for a good laugh.
