Ghostline is a 2015 thriller movie that tells the story of a couple, Aaron (Zack Gold) and Beth (Rachel Alig), who move into a new home only to realize that the place has a dark secret. The movie is directed by Dean Whitney and written by Dean Whitney and Nathan Dalton. The movie opens with a prologue set in 1987 where a group of teenagers break into an abandoned house for fun. One of the kids, a girl, goes missing and is never found. The scene then shifts to the present day where Aaron and Beth are excited about their new home, which they purchased from a couple who had inherited it from their deceased aunt. However, the couple who sold the property warns them about a weird phone line in the house that goes straight to a cellar, which is locked and has no key. They also mention that they have been receiving strange calls from that phone line.

Ignoring the warning, Aaron and Beth settle into their new home. While exploring the house, Aaron finds the locked cellar and decides to break the lock to investigate. Inside the cellar, he finds an old-fashioned switchboard and an old phone. Before he can figure out the significance of the equipment, he receives a strange phone call warning him to stay away from the cellar.

Meanwhile, Beth has been feeling ill and exhibiting strange behavior. She becomes withdrawn and starts to have psychic visions of the missing girl from the opening sequence. Aaron becomes worried about her and decides to dig deeper into the history of the house. He discovers that the previous owners were members of a cult, which used to perform ritual sacrifices in the cellar. The missing girl from the prologue was one of their victims.

As the days go by, strange things start to happen in the house, and Aaron starts to feel like they are being watched. He discovers that all the phone lines in the house are somehow connected to the switchboard in the cellar. He also finds out that the phone calls he has been receiving are coming from the ghost of the missing girl.

As they try to uncover the truth about what happened in the house, Aaron and Beth find themselves at the mercy of the cult's remaining members, who are determined to perform their ritual sacrifices and summon an evil spirit from another dimension. The couple must fight for their lives and stop the cult from completing the ritual, or they will be doomed to spend eternity in a world of terror.

The movie is well-paced and does a great job of building tension throughout. There are some jump scares and gory moments, but overall the movie relies more on suspense and atmosphere to create a creepy vibe. The acting is good, with Rachel Alig giving a standout performance as the haunted and tormented Beth.

The movie also has some interesting themes, such as the dangers of blindly following a belief system and the consequences of dabbling with the supernatural. Overall, Ghostline is an entertaining and well-executed thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the chilling end.

Ghostline is a 2015 horror movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 26 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 3.5.
