After years of studying the violin, Kyle Smith is delighted to have the opportunity to play in front of an audience. When the concert is over, he is approached by a mysterious man who offers him the opportunity to get paid and travel the world with his talents. Only his father knows about this plan, and secretly Kyle goes off and travels to fulfill his dreams while his mother thinks he is in boarding school. As Kyle meets new people all around the world he realizes that only a certain amount of people will ever understand his need to explore.
