After suffering from an abusive past they prepare to leave it behind. They relocate but Vance is desperate to find work, and he soon joins Jules and becomes his dueling basketball partner. The two of them are quite talented and begin winning duel after duel, making a real name for themselves and a very successful partnership. They soon find themselves competing in a duel championship game. And folks learn quickly that they'll do just about anything to win.
