Game Over, Man! is a 2018 action comedy film that follows the story of three unlikely heroes - Alexxx, Joel and Darren, played respectively by Adam Devine, Anders Holm and Blake Anderson. The trio are lowly hotel housekeepers with big ambitions of making it big in the video game industry. After pitching their game idea to a wealthy potential investor, their hopes and dreams are dashed when they find themselves in the middle of a high-stakes hostage situation.

The movie begins by introducing the main cast of characters, the three housekeepers, who are working at the Los Angeles Intercontinental Hotel. Despite their mundane jobs, they spend their free time working on their own video game idea, dubbed "Skintendo." They believe that their game is a sure-fire hit, and they are hoping to achieve financial success by getting it developed by a major video game company. However, when they present their demo to a wealthy investor, who is staying at the hotel, things take a dramatic turn.

As the investor is about to agree to fund their project, the hotel is attacked by a group of heavily armed terrorists who take the guests and staff hostage. The trio of housekeepers, who were in the investor's room at the time of the attack, manage to avoid detection and decide to take matters into their own hands. With no help from law enforcement, they must use their skills, wits, and comedic talents to try and save the hostages, including their own friends and coworkers, and stop the terrorists from accomplishing their deadly plan.

The movie is a blend of action and comedy, featuring plenty of explosions, gunfights, and physical comedy. The trio's attempt to save the hostages is fraught with danger, but they use their knowledge of video games to come up with inventive solutions to problems, including setting up their own improvised traps and distractors to mislead the terrorists. Their comical bickering and banter add a light note to the dramatic events, creating a balance between ridiculousness and tension.

The three main actors, who are also the creators of the hit TV show "Workaholics," have excellent chemistry, and their natural comedic timing and improvisational abilities are on full display throughout the movie. Adam Devine comes across as the most energetic and over-the-top member of the trio, while Anders Holm's more understated humor provides an excellent counterbalance. Blake Anderson's portrayal of a nervous and hesitant hero gives the character a more grounded feeling, making him the most relatable of the three.

The film is not without its flaws, though. The plot and characters are quite predictable, and the premise of the trio of lowly hotel housekeepers saving the day feels a bit unrealistic, even for a comedy. Additionally, the dialogue and jokes can be hit or miss, with some gags falling flat.

Overall, Game Over, Man! is a goofy and entertaining action-comedy, with plenty of laughs and action to keep viewers entertained throughout. The chemistry between the three leads is excellent, making for a highly enjoyable viewing experience. While the plot may not be the most original and some of the humor falls flat, the movie is still a joy to watch, especially for fans of the "Workaholics" show.

Game Over, Man! is a 2018 action movie. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 5.5 and a MetaScore of 32.
