Set in Florida in the 1930s, Gal Young un involves an independent woman (Dana Preu) who marries a charming but self-indulgent man (David Peck) much younger than herself. As her husband becomes preoccupied with the young housekeeper (J. Smith) hired to help them, his wife struggles to maintain equilibrium in the relationship.
